What to do during an earthquake

  • Stay inside. Take cover under sturdy furniture or in an interior corner, away from windows, bookcases and anything that could fall.
  • If you're outside, move away from buildings, poles and signs.
  • If you're driving, stop away from bridges and buildings and stay inside the car.
  • After the shaking stops, expect possible aftershocks and follow 112's instructions.
